The protection spiral is either placed over the tree or rotated along the trunk. Alternatively, the spiral can only be attached to the outside. For this purpose it is fixed in the crown area and stretched down along the side of the trunk. The spiral pulls along with the height of the tree.

MONO-Fraying Protection Spiral
Fraying protection spiral 3.5 cm in diameter
For use in forestry and orchards – Protection spiral is installed through a screw-like motion around trunk.

This protection spiral gives you a two-in-one advantage: It does not only protect from fraying damage but also from gnawing damage by mice and rabbits in the lower trunk section.
It grows in width with the trunk. Once the diameter of the spiral (3.5 cm) is exceeded, the protection length slowly decreases because of the increasing trunk diameter.

MONO - Larch Spiral
Fraying protection spiral 2.5 cm in diameter especially suitable for larch, scots pine and swiss pine
Young larch trees often have many branches. For this reason, the need for a special spiral with larger spaces between the strips and smaller strip widths has developed. The MONO-Larch Spiral can be used for such trees with many branches. It can easily be wrapped around the trunk and keeps its length perfectly.

The Wita®Knabb mowing protection cuff protects the bark surface from mechanical damage, e.g. from string trimmers, lawn mowers or rodents.
The Wita®Knabb mowing protector can be adjusted easily to the diameter of the tree being protected by attaching the two flaps to the ventilation slit flaps. A collar can be used for trees with a diameter of up to approx. 10 cm. For larger trunk diameters, the circumference of the collar can be enlarged and adapted to fit the tree trunk by connecting additional collars.

Our new WitaPro mower protection made of wood protects the bark surface from mechanical damage caused by, for example, grass trimmers, lawn mowers or rodents.
The cuff is easy to assemble, close and open again. The distances between the wooden slats ensure optimal air circulation, which prevents insect infestation and the formation of rot.
WitaPro mowing protection is easily assembled using the existing wire ends. A sleeve can be used for trees up to approximately 10 cm in diameter. If the tree to be protected becomes larger or has a larger trunk diameter, several WitaPro mowing protection sleeves can simply be hung together.
