Wita®Schäl Stripping Protection has fixed widths. This means that the circumference of the protected trunks (do only protect crop trees) roughly has to correspond with the widths of this stripping protection product (e.g. a width of 80 cm is suitable for trunks with a diameter of approx. 25 cm). It takes only two steps to install the protection: 1) Place protection around trunk, 2) Close it with a suitable tool (e.g. with Ring Tool and Rings). This makes installation as quick and as convenient as possible. To prevent bark stripping damage by red deer, it is recommended to protect approx. 2 metres of the trunk. In areas with large quantities of snow, slightly longer protection heights are recommended.
