Application of sprayable CORTIFLEX®: Before beginning the spraying process, loose pieces of bark and contaminants should be removed from the trunk with a piece of scouring pad or a wire brush, depending on the texture. Before application shake CORTIFLEX® well and cover the entire trunk. Practical tip: this coat can also be evenly applied with a paintbrush.

Undercoat for the Biomechanical Trunk Protection Paint Cortiflex® If tree bark is very absorbent and porous, prepare tree bark with PreFlex® Undercoat before applying Cortiflex®. If no undercoat is used, bark would absorb binding agents from the Cortiflex® Trunk Protection Paint. Besides, the undercoat binds remainders of loose bark flakes and facilitates the application of Cortiflex® Trunk Protection Paint considerably.
