AntiSmell Trap Salt
AntiSmell Trap Salt for wet trapping bark beetles with MultiWit Trap-Tub AntiSmell Trap Salt is a natural, inorganic product that, when used in a trapping system with catch liquid, prevents the release of pheromones (messenger substances) deterring other bark beetles and deodorises the smell of decaying beetles caught in traps. As a consequence, catch rates constantly remain at a high level. The trap salt has no attracting effect! - Please do not forget the right pheromone. With one 150 g package you can obtain 700 ml of the salt-watersolution (= one trap-tub filling).shipping unit: 1 pack = 2 x 150 g One filling can suppress the smell of approx. 15,000 to 20,000 bark beetles. Thus, no more than 2 to 5 trap checks per season are necessary, depending on flight intensity and flight duration (saves time and labour). Disposal: food quality – the salt or the salt-water-solution can, therefore, be disposed of with no problem (e.g., in household trash or at appropriate collection points)

The advantage of this glue over others is that Soveurode Special Glue covers the insects caught and, therefore, the surface remains sticky. quantity needed: can coats 4 to 6.5 m² with glue weatherproof, excellent catch results Remains sticky for a very long period despite moisture, high or low temperatures. Excellent for use in the open air as well as in greenhouses. Stays effective up to one year. When surfaces that were coated with glue are fully covered with insects, effectiveness declines. Clean surfaces with spatula (scrape off) and newly coat them with glue. Practical TipUse Soveurode Special Glue to control winter moth (Operophtera brumata) The brownish-grey female winter moths are flightless. They crawl from the ground up the trunks of their host trees with their six, strong legs where they mate and lay eggs in bark crevices. The eggs overwinter in the crevices. Larvae hatch in spring when the leaves sprout, i.e. from March to May depending on local climate conditions. As the females are very limited in their spatial range and the flying males cannot carry them, their control is very simple: Spray Soveurode Special Glue ring-like around the tree you would like to protect. The females stick to the glue, no mating will take place.Time of application: October to December (during the mating season)
