- Origin: subtropical and temperate regions of East Asia, especially China, Korea, Mongolia, Vietnam, and eastern Russia. Spread by the international timber trade (packaging wood) and imports of host plants to Europe (Italy, Germany).

- Duration of effect: approx. 4 weeks*
*The duration of effect depends on the weather. - Recommended monitoring locations: Hang black multi funnel traps at a height of approx. 2 to 3 meters, ideally 1 trap per tree or two trees.
- Deciduous tree species are infested, especially Prunus species (cherry, plum, apricot, peach)
